Project Overview

Irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D) is commonly encountered in clinical practice and is associated with discernible symptoms that have substantial impact on the patient. To help Healthcare Professionals better understand the causes, symptoms, and potentials for aid, IBS-D Up Close provides and experience that utilizes interactive story telling.

Education through story telling

The goal of IBS-D Up Close was not just provide information on the causes, symptoms, and solutions, but to create an experience that was engaging, interactive, and compelling. By using a 3D model, Healthcare Professionals could interact with given sections in the gut and further showing where the causes and symptoms occur. Providing solutions and resources for each selection, we could navigate each path to its appropriate goal.

User Experience
Planning for Scale

Throughout the lifespan of IBS-D, it was expected that the platform would grow and extend to the consumer audience. Planning for scale and how these two experience would come together to provide the proper solutions for both target audiences, while feeling as one cohesive experience, was crucial.
